Comprehensive Speech-Language Evaluations​
Assessment of speech-language skills is a complex process. I provide a comprehensive speech-language evaluation to identify your child's unique speech/language needs. The assessment process includes:

Collecting background information about your child's birth, medical, educational, and family history.

Conducting personalized standardized and non-standardized testing to assess your child's expressive and receptive language skills, pragmatic language skills, articulation, fluency, voice.

Speech-Language Therapy

I develop a unique speech-language therapy plan that relates to the needs of your child. Speech therapy should be motivating and fun! In addition to creating motivating materials for therapy sessions, I will provide you with the tools you need to work with your child at home to accelerate the therapy process. If your child is struggling with academics, I work with them and modify reading and/or writing assignments to allow for academic success. Specialties include (but not limited to):

Have general speech/language/social concerns? I can speak with you about overall concerns and recommend next steps

Has your child already been evaluated in school, privately or in a clinical/hospital setting? I can review documents (including psychological evaluations, educational evaluations, multi-disciplinary evaluations, IEPs), answer questions that were not previously explained in ways that are easily understood, and make recommendations for next steps.
